| What is Airsoft? Airsoft is a distant relation of paintball. Airsoft games are played in and around buildings and in outdoor areas, with the object of defeating an opposing team. Instead of paintballs, the guns use small 6mm plastic pellets, most often weighing a fifth of a gram. The guns look very realistic, replicating their real life counterparts. Hence machine guns fire many pellets a second, shotguns fire many at once, and sniper guns fire slowly but with more accuracy. Who can play? We welcome anyone 11-15yrs old as long as they have an accompanying adult to sign them in at our site. All players 16 yrs + need only to sign our insurance form themselves. We can hire out all the equipment needed, but insist that people bring their own sensible footwear – boots or supportive trainers are a must. We are fully insured for community groups and have carried out a risk assessment which can be downloaded. What weapons do we carry at the Airsoft site. At Mid Antrim Paintball & Airsoft we have got some of the most popular and the most reliable airsoft guns that money can buy. |
